Question is in the title.

Someone help me out please.

    Ok i'm beyond confused.

i have 2056 crit rating which is 13.9% crit

    if i take 2056 divided by 13.9 i get 147.913

But if i take off all my gear and only put on my belt that's 108 crit rating it is 0.8%

Someone please tell me what the hell i'm doing wrong this makes no sense.

It's not a linear scale. There's an expected target value for Crit Rating for your level, which gives a certain amount of Crit Chance. Going above that Rating gives diminishing returns.

Do you no what point it starts to have diminishing returns.

your math works out fine... your Neverwinter does not show the second decimal point so if it was 0.73% crit for your belt and the game rounds up to make gamers feel all warm an fuzy.

It's plotted on a curve, which means as you go higher you need a larger sum of crit rating to get 1%
