You get 2 for completing quests - one is pretty early on and the other is in the early 30's IIRC, (in the graveyard area after completing an entire quest chain). Other than that, you have to buy them from the Zen store or from someone else, who bought one from the Zen store.

The second one is after the Clockwork quest in the graveyards. The quest is near completion of the entire area. First the harper has you unlock six seals, then the "genius" sends you into the clockwork tombs.
The second bag has 12 slots.
Completing the quest put me at level 32. (It's likely possible to skip other things I completed, and get it a couple levels earlier)

Really screwed up when games like this are majorly p2w. I wouldn't mind shelling out a $15 a month sub but zen is bloody expensive just to get 1 bag.

The bags offered in the packs are nothing to classify as p2w if that is what you meant. They are 16 slot i think (or 12 - 2 rows) and one of the smallest bags you can have. The greater bags available in the zen market are much better.

As a side does anyone know if an embroidered bag of holding (what you get in the pack) can be passed to another toon, so that toon could have 2 of them? If that is the case, then it is not so bad because as i buy the greater bags for my main toons, I can pass these off to my alts... so they are not just an other throw away item..

Justifying pay for bags is mind boggling. It sets a very negative mood for the customer. If they are set on this path then the bag purchase should be for all characters on the account and non-tradeable.

The bag system in neverwinter is probably one of the worst parts of the game and from talking to people I know that tried it, one of the major things that made it where they didn't play for more than a few days.

I agree with Charononus. You're looking to buy a Bag of Holding pretty much right from the get-go. If ya don't you are out of space in your "free" bag well before your given the 2nd bag. At least the bag you get early does have a good amount of slots. That bag you get in the graveyard is close to useless it has so few slots. And ya can't pass those two bags from one char to another. To top it off, if you were a person who was inclined to buy a lot of bags for your char... well you can only have so many. I think 5 bags is the tops... That's the one you start with, two ya win and two ya buy.

I'm not sure why, other then to make sure we buy more stuff, everything in this game is so limited. Three belt slots... Two Daily slots... two at-will slots and so on.... At-wills I can understand, as they are keyed to the mouse, but most other stuff is keyboard.

    Shurg...

All they'd need to do to fix it up is put some maybe 8 slot bags for sale for gold at one of the vendors. Then people trying the game can feel like they have access to inventory and as they advance along they can decide to pay zen for bigger bags. Cryptic gets it's money and probably more of it as it lets more people get more invested in the game.

I'm not sure how paying for more bag space is paying for more 'win' =/

I suppose it all boils down to space management.

To begin with, you don't have to keep ALL the enchants you pick in your adventures.

Well, the bags are in multiples of 6, but I suppose making the bag go over to 2 rows could make it appear larger. Still, even adding just a 6-slot bag for gold would go a long way to placating players and lessening resentment about feeling nickel-and-dimed.
