PLEASE Fix Threat With Cleric...

    As a DC it's hard to run dungeons without Astral Shield. I really don't like how I throw one tiny heal and the adds from across the entire dungeon instantly hate my guts, even when the CW is wailing on the boss. The only solution I found was actually standing close to the GF and running the adds through them, Makes it harder on the GF, but it seemed to take most of the hate off me. I hope that this will continue to work, so we have something to fall back on the Astral Shield gets hit with the nerf bat

    I am so tired of casting 2 healing spells and having every mob in 10 miles target me.

    As a Cleric I spend half of my time trying to run away from mobs that are wailing on me...

    If tanks had 50% of my threat It would be nice.

    Pro-tip. Put points in Soothe.
    Pro-tip. Don't forget to slot Soothe at the start of a dungeon. :)

    I still feel that smarter dps would resolve a lot of this issue. When I play my cleric I drop astral on big guy and a heal for the hot to roll on the tank. Everyone starts dpsing the big guy. Spawns add at 75%. Spawns all immediately aggro to me due to astral heal. No one stops to help with adds. The cw just sitting there spamming ice ray on the big guy. I know this is an mom but control wizard purpose in fourth edition was to help manage adds. Let the strikers kill the high hp guys. Clerics and wizards together should b able to handle adds. Unfortunately a lot of the wizards I see think they are playing strikers. People should realize not all classes in this game do dps like a striker

    I dont know if you have done epic T2 dungeons but it doesnt work that way. Adds keeps spawning without stop. Without doing damage to the boss, they just keep spawning. I had an icespire T2 dungeon were there were literally 30+ mobs after the cleric and the boss had half a bubble of life missing.

    its the way this game is made

    other games put aggro based on numbers. Whoever does the most numbers (ignoring threat generation/reduction abilities) gets aggro. Usually heals have higher numbers than dps so they pull aggro in other games. the solution is intelligent healing and HoTs over burst healing

    this game has taken it upon itself to **** clerics over. there is an innate ai mechanism to simply target clerics.

    As a gwf i run into a group of deathpledges to pull, nobody has done any damage or used any spells yet, deathpledges jump on cleric

    whos idea was this?

    What ? People run 2 clerics and never die , how this game actually screwed over the clerics and not the Guardian Fighters I just don't know .

    Pro tip still doesn't matter, you'll still have threat on everything.

    Why lessen the Clerics threat they are the tanks right now. Both Epic dungeon groups i run with run dual cleric. Astral shield and heals out do anything an army of Guardians could dream of atm. I understand what people are getting at but in the games current state in end game lessening cleric threat wouldn't change anything at all imo.

    Pretty sure that's not working as intended, and posts like that are going to get us nerfed heavily. SO.
