Part 2: Labyrinth of Lunacy NW-DJ9SX98WX


Campaign Summary: It appears that someone has set up a dungeon challenge in the Sword Coast and is calling out to all adventurers to come accept explore it's depths, to claim the riches that it may hold or meet your fate within. But, (there is always a but) all may not be as it seems, inside the dungeons lie a brewing back story that could cause you to lose your soul and forever change the all of Faerun!


Quest Summary: The second chapter in this campaign takes a turn as the Neverwinter Guard is asking for adventurers to investigate the Dungeons of Dread and Darius Red's newest dungeon, the Labyrinth of Lunacy. Seems Darius may be up to no good and the Guard wants more information, and by doing so you must enter the dungeon as a willing participant.

Quest Type: Combat/Story/Exploration
Time to Complete: 40 Minutes
Combat: Moderate (6 "bosses")
Starts At: Protector's Enclave - Guard Frinko
Tips: Quest Trail can be misleading, some objectives are not shown, exploration is suggested.
Difficulty:
  • Group: Average-Moderate
  • Solo: Moderate-Hard


This campaign is the prologue to a larger story which will introduce you to one of the story's major antagonist; Darius Red. It's starts off slow in chapter 1 with it focusing mostly on combat and then takes off in this chapter to get you familiar with the larger back story which will continue in the next campaign:
The Circle of the Living Flame.

When providing feedback, I ask that you please the as detailed as possible with locations of glitches, bugs, typos, misspellings, encounters that need adjusting (harder/easier) etc... The more detail you can provide the easier it will to be to fix and help make this campaign an the follow up campaign(s) much more enjoyable for the players.

    Today: defeated brewmaster, picked up key, went to unlock door... "Error: No Key" nothing to do but leave through emergency exit :(

    The brewmaster key unlocks the door near the respawn fire, the key to progress is back in the Steward's room which should have been highlighted on your minimap and large map as well as a quest objective telling you to get the key from the Steward.

    Completely unable to find any way to open the door by the huge spider, though I reached the point where I'm supposed to follow the ghost through it (the reach marker circle I need to get to on the map is directly on the other side). Went back through the entire dungeon, following both left and right walls, inspected every inspectable.

    Completely unable to find any way to open the door by the huge spider, though I reached the point where I'm supposed to follow the ghost through it (the reach marker circle I need to get to on the map is directly on the other side). Went back through the entire dungeon, following both left and right walls, inspected every inspectable.

    The door by the spider is opened from the other side as a quick route back to the respawn. The path to get around it should have been passable, maybe a glitch with that particular instance of the game as other people have completed it since last I did any editing.

    Stay tuned for the conclusion of the Dungeons of Dread Campaign with Necropolis of Nightmare hopefully by the end of the weekend.

    Minor Update:
    1. Fix an issue near the respawn campfire that would lock players out of continuing if they died before unlocked the bypass door.
    2. Cleaned up some of the reach points to help guide the player along better.

    Minor Update:
    1. Moved the campfire in the lower labyrinth to help avoid players from spawning inside the fireplace and adjusted some of the aesthetics around the area to convey why a campfire would be in the middle of the room and not in the fireplace itself.
    2. Fixed even more typos, okay one typo.

    Minor Update:
    1. Took some steps to prevent the player from progressing through the dungeon ahead of where the objectives are in the lower labyrinth.
    2. Changed a few doors as to not confuse the player of their purpose in the lower labyrinth.
    3. Added more aesthetic features to the lower labyrinth.
    4. Added a single mob encounter to the lower labyrinth.

    Removed the existing campaigns and will be wrapping all of my quests into a single campaign and renaming them accordingly to make them easier to follow.
