Npc not advancing quest after returning from dungeon.

OK basically heres now it goes.

Talk to npc 1 - talk to npc 2 - go to dungeon map - go to next dungeon map - return to npc 2 - return to npc1.

The breakdown appears to happen when you leave the adventure custom map and head back to protectors enclave to talk to npc 2. Npc2 is supposed to give dialogue then send you to npc 1. except npc2 just continuously gives his dialogue over and over and keeps giving you the quest item from him.

No advancement to the next npc. Both are in protectors enclave.

They are both on the same section of the storyboard, above and below each other.

Any help appreciated as to what i might be doing wrong.

Also ive noticed when you head back to protectors enclave from the custom map, the quest disappears from the log but an advancement bubble is still over npc2.

Are you sure you are not just using the interactive feature of NPC1, and are definitely using the dialog objective?

I have seen that lately there is a bug with zoning into cryptic prerendered maps and losing the foundry quests.

Sounds like the usual Transition bug. Is the quest still located in your journal when this happens? If not, the game still shows you having a target NPC to talk to, with all your Foundry data and everything, but it will create an infinite loop of dialogue since the quest technically doesn't exist anymore for it to complete the objective.

All we can do is wait and see when Cryptic will address the issue of Foundries being dropped from your journal on transitions. Until then, you may just have to stick with using custom maps.
