Pretty much as the title says, i keep entering level ranges and getting items way below and above what i entered, is this just on my side or does anyone else have the same problem?

There are two ways to search for items by level.
1. Use the Gateway: http://gateway.playneverwinter.com
There you can browse and search in every category and the level filter works but it can be slow at times.
2. Don't choose the subcategory. If you're looking for equipment in a certain level range just limit it by the default filters. Click on equipment and enter your desired level range, stats and quality and search. Although you can't filter by category this way, having 400 items you could actually use is still WAY better than having to look through 400 items you might be able to use and having to compare every single tooltip.
As long as you do not select the subcategory (mainhand, arms, head, etc) the level filter works and you can just as easily search for certain items by typing in their respective name (greaves, helm, bracers and so on).
