There's a part in my quest where 2 NPCs are following the player. The problem is, they both run in the same exact spot behind the player and they are clipping so bad, one of the NPC appears to not even be there because he is inside of the larger NPC.
Is there any way around this?
Appreciate any help...
Thanks.

Well, I was thinking about it, isn't there a follow speed in the behavior section that determines how fast they follow you? If it works, you can help alleviate the problem by making one faster and one slower, so the slower one would fall behind. Of course, when you stand still you're going to have the same problem. It might just help alleviate things (if it works at all).

Yea...I actually thought about using different follow speeds to offset them a bit, but that value doesn't seem to function at all. I just had an idea to have one NPC follow the player and the other one follow a path. I might be able to make it work like this.
BTW, I only tested this in edit mode. I'm wondering if they still run on top of each other when published...can anyone confirm this?
Thank you.
EDIT: Actually, the follow speed thing does kinda work to keep them apart. Until you stand still for like 5 seconds.
If you're ok with them engaging in combat, you could spawn them as a 2 NPC Guard encounter. The encounters move in a specific layout, so they would not stack on top of each other (as long as they are part of the same encounter).

Didn't think to try this...seems like it would be my best option. Thanks man.
