Game making computer crash

for the past few days now i have been noticing my PC crashing throughout random times of me playing. i really dont believe that its my computer overheating but thats a small possibility...i was just wondering if anyone is having this issue or if its just me ?

    Have you tried changing the ingame setting for directx? Or if the problem might be overheating download http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/hwmonitor.html and monitor your systems temperature.
