SYNOPSIS
The mission of Ilmateur's Beacon is in desperate need of help finding a missing person in the ill-reputed port-fare of Gloomlight. Gloomlight's coast is afflicted by an unnatural haze of miasma, a nebulous blanket which lays heavy on the city's populace. Beneath the murky veil, mayhem thrives between unscrupulous factions locked conflict and strife. Little do the unsuspecting adventurers know, how deep this rabbit hole goes...
"Gloomlight: Beneath the Veil" is a city adventure, that will take you through the seedy bowels and underbelly of Gloomlight's notoriously corrupt and mired underworld. Players will be roped into an ongoing secret war, where they will end up being a pawn on the chess board for some unseen catalysts. "Beneath the Veil" is a prelude to a Blood-War conspiracy that will unfold with subsequent quests.
Tips and Hints:
- Do the side quests. The side quest will help provide lore information in uncovering the conspiracy going on in Gloomlight. They will also provide information on fight tactics with boss encounter.
- In case you skip the side quests, a good tip is to figure out which mobs are producing what effects. This will make some encounters easier.
- The last boss fight is difficult. In case you die, a spirit guide will appear by the respawn point and offer assistance to aid you in your final confrontation.
- It is easy to get lost in Gloomlight. Be sure you keep an eye on your map to look for landmarks that will lead you to your objectives.
- Don't be afraid to explore. Some Easter egg events will reveal lore and clues.
Boss Fights [in order of appearance]:
- Vorduel-Khan Taskmaster
- Sluggosh, Vorduel-Khan Overlord
- Daybreak the Swift
- Rogg, the Enforcer
- Vasharan Mastiff-keeper
- Venom Harvester
- Furio, The Furnace Master
- Nightfall the Lean

This time I died before completing the "Enter the Crimson Chamber" objective (**** my completionist mind-set that wouldn't allow me to just bypass Furio et al) and am back on the wrong side of the 'garrison bowel' doors with no way back inside.
I've spent about 6 hours playing the quest, 5/6ths of that time spent having to replay the Garrison map in the hope it wouldn't bug out on me. Unfortunately, if you die after the bowel doors are shut it is game over. You cannot get back to the end game map
If you still work on this quest, let me know if it gets fixed*. I was really enjoying the style and length, it was a proper immersive experience and I would love to be able to finish it one day.
*Death is not a problem. I wouldn't want the fix to be in the form of make combat so easy there is little chance of player death. I just want a way back to the bowels (not a sentence I ever thought I would write!).
I'll try to fix the doors as soon as I can. I'll keep ya posted!:o

I'd love to think a part 2 was coming as promised at the end but with the outrageously low play count, considering all the work needed to produce something of this calibre and epic-ness, I can understand why you may not want to bother. [CRYPTIC, Give a bone to your Foundry authors, stop with the 15 minute silliness]. If it's a small comfort, years from now this will be one of the quests I know I will remember with fondness and maybe even a touch of "Hey, lets install NWO and get us some Gloomlight".
There was one thing in the quest I was left curious about, but I will PM you for an answer to avoid spoilers.
Many thanks Nyghoma, that was an absolute corker.
**** Karitr, I don't know what to say. Wanna get married?
=P j/k I dont even know if you're a girl...hahaha

If it means you will continue to be your fabulous creative self. YES.
An old girl as it happens.
Don't worry though, I'd rather be playing your quests anyway
Hmm, although you made it public now. Hope you don't live in a country or state when the Breach of Promise law is still recognised, or I will have you making UGC for the rest of your life *cracks whip*
