Crafting Mats in Guild Bank?!?

as the title says WHY can we not put crafting mats in the guild bank? i do hope that is a bug as in STO *sister game* u can do this and from my understanding most guilds have many tabs set aside JUST for crafting mats!!!

plz tell me this is a bug. and btw if this was talked about already sorry. i didnt look to hard but i didnt see anything on it.

    The issue has been raised before, but I don't think there's been any response from Cryptic yet.

    One thing to be aware of - this game treats crafting resources differently from STO. In STO, they are ordinary items and go in to your main inventory. In NW, they go in to a special inventory, which suggests that they are a different "type" of item from ordinary items.

    So clearly, someone will have to get out the code-crowbar to change the bank to allow multiple item types for this to happen. This is a pretty significant change, so it could be a while.

    So far I haven't run into the issue of space while collecting all the resources I come across. The mats are also shareable/mailable.
