In part of my quest, I've set the room on fire, so I thought it would be a good idea to actually build in some real danger to the player if he goes into an area where the fire is strongest. There are no fire traps, but there is a steam vent trap which I thought might be good enough. The thing is, when I playtest it in the Foundry editor, it never does any damage to the user (and yes, God mode is turned off).
Does anybody know if these traps are working? And if so, am I maybe doing something wrong? For example, I don't really understand why there are two components to these: the trap itself, and the target. What's that about? Should I just be placing the target directly over the trap for the vents?
Edit: Oh, weird. Suddenly they're working. Maybe putting the target on top of the trap was the key. Can I place these under the floor so they can't be disarmed? Also, I'd still like to know why there's a target and a trap.

Also, being Untargetable will cause traps not to work... just in case.
