What level does your armor start to look different? Just hit 16 got some new armor from a quest and it pretty much looks like every other chest piece I've had.
Is this just limited to cleric's armor or am I missing something?
Yeah I'm now level 34 and my armour doesn’t really look any different than when I started. There are some slight differences but nothing major. The only way I can see to make any noticeable difference is with dyes, but I have been hesitant to do that because items change so often it would be a waste. It's kind of a letdown to be honest, stuck for most of the game looking like every other dull grey heal bot

To me it looks like the vast majority of armors are only slight variations on a base unfortunately... I feel like it's to give class identity since it's very much chain mail/Medium Armor for Cleric but that's kinda by-passed by wearing clothes. There is definitely minor variations around. Notably you can dye armor however and there is 3 different styles of dying that you can have in place so that's where the only real variation exists right now.

I sincerely hope the lack of armour appearances is a limitation of beta. Getting a new piece of gear with a new look is, as trivial as it sounds, an important part of the gearing-up process.
White and Green armor will look the same from 1-40, variations of the original chest piece you started with is what you will see for the entire duration, with bits and pieces added and removed, at 20 you will begin to notice the loincloth part more often as well.
At 40-60 An entirely new set of armor will be available for white/green models, and the same variation of parts will also persist.
Blue armor will usually be unique looking from the green/white armors and purple armors are usually the "full" sets that are elaborate looking class armors.
This has been true for every class I've played so far, CW, DC, & TR
