Crafting monsters for Dungeon Master Battles as an end-game activity?

It would be fun to craft monsters and unleash them against monsters of other players in a new game mode set up for this purpose.

1. In the crafting menu there could be a new section called Dungeon Master where players could create monsters.

2. Players would be able to use crafting slots to create monsters. There could be common, uncommon, rare and very rare monsters. The monsters could be categorized as strikers, healers, tanks and controllers like player characters.

3. After you craft and place exactly ten monsters in your inventory, you are allowed to join and play a new game mode called Dungeon Master Battle. In a Dungeon Master Battle the monsters in your and your opponent's inventory are consumed and spawned on the battlefield to fight against each other. It could be an EvE fight (as opposed to PvP or PvE), meaning that players would be spectators watching monsters fight but not participating in the battle. If it's an EvE fight, the outcome of the fight could rely on the striker-healer-tank-controller combination of the monsters in each army. Alternatively, it could be a PvE or PvE + PvP fight in which you and your monsters are fighting the opponent and his or her monsters. There could also be Team Dungeon Master Battle where you bring five monsters and enter a match with four other players to form a joint army of 25 monsters.

4. Success in Dungeon Master Battle would progress the Dungeon Master crafting skill, unlocking new types of monsters that can be crafted. It could be fun if each player character could specialize only in one or two monster categories. For example, if you choose demons, then you can craft only monsters from the demon category.

Monster crafting could be fun especially for fans of strategy and rune/card games.
