As far as I know, they're only from Profession Asset Pack and Profession Booster Pack. I personally dont find them anywhere near worth the money, you should buy the tool you want from the auction house. But if you want to buy them, the tools are called an Asset. An Asset can be either a worker, or a tool.

Unfortunately you don't seem to be able to combine white tools to make green ones... there are recipes to turn greens into blues and blues into purples but unless it's an oversight, you're stuck with white tools unless you PAY.

In terms of spending money to get the green ones, if I recall correctly, one of the profession packs can be purchased with 5 or 7 Celestial Coin, so it'll take about a week or so to afford it, but so long as you log in and invoke the gods once per day, without any breaks in between, you'll be able to pick one of those up without having to spend any real money. Correct me if I'm wrong on this though.

From the description it sounded like those only granted resources and not assets, which the tools would be. So I too would like to know what people usually get from that. Otherwise I'll just pass that up and do the 7 day coins for the ward.

I think I did get a green tailor from the 5 coin pack, and that is an asset as well so I think you can get them from there if you get very lucky.

Would be extremely unlikely that you could get anywhere doing it that way though since thats just 1 chance every 5 days to maybe get a tool and then you need 4 of them to make 1 blue.

There's one quest (Doomguard's Duty) in the graveyard, that gives a pack that can reward assets.

(probably why you periodically see people asking to join parties for that one)

You can also try your luck with the celestial coin.. the pack that cost 5 celestial coin has a chance to give a green tool. Got an iron awl from it.

There are no assets in that box. If you mouseover the small icon in the "store", it'll tell you what can be in it, and assets aren't a possibility.

This is a bit insane really. You need to combine 4 green tools to make a blue tool .... but the only way to get greens is to try an get lucky gambling ZEN or celestial coins. Really?

Come on Cryptic. Give us a chance and let us make green tools as part of crafting.
