What does the movement modifier on equipment do exactly? It certainly doesn't make you run faster. If it did they wouldn't be able to sell mounts. So I'm not really sure what benefit movement provides....
On another note, I fouind a stack of 5 lockboxes for a buyout of 92 AD.... so I figure if I can get an idol, with the double AD, that's 80k AD's? Because when you turn it in it acts like a quest......

The idol you will find out this afternoon.

And movement from a mount allows you to "move" 110% faster (with a purple or level 3 mount). So if your run speed is 100, now you are running over 210 while mounted.

Movement modifier on equipment does indeed raise your movement speed (I'm at +113% speed on a mount). It's just not a very big or noticeable gain.

It does make a difference though when trying to outrun mobs once you get it high enough.

It only increases in small increments and there are times where you can't use a mount.

I just turned in an idol and only got the standard amount, so i guess those don't count.

YOU DIDN'T GIVE ME A RIDDLE, DANG IT! Here's a few that'll be solved in seconds...
In the palace of the kingdom, the princess's birthday has arrived. Excited, she dances and sings, cavorts and plays while awaiting her party. Her hair is as silver and wild as the tail of a comet. Her eyes twinkle as stars. And her smile could ignite stars with it's brilliant radiance. She takes after her mother that way, I suppose.

As the party begins and the singing, dancing, and merrymaking spreads, each of the guests gives the princess large boxes wrapped in the finest cloths and papers, with pretty ribbons and bows. The cake is served once the candles are blown out when a final guest arrives, late.

An old man, he carries with him a tiny box, far smaller than any of the others. And he presents himself to the Princess. He is stooped and wrinkled, dirty from his hard labor. And he opens the gift befoere her and says:

"Your highness, I am but a poor man, old and feeble. Far from your court. I have only one gift I can give you, the fruit of my labors. I've toiled and fought to carve nine stones. But I may only give you one."

And with that he presented the stones unto her. A diamond, small and hard, pure and brilliant. A fire opal, red and clear. A sapphire, blue and small. A ruby, dull and unpolished. A banded agate, large and round. A tiger's eye, it's silky lustre bound within a ring of chalcedony. A teal zircon , it's facets glinting in the light. A lapis lazuli, blue as the deepest ocean. And a small bit of granite, which his old eyes mistook for a gem of value or worth.

The princess looked at the stones and laughed "I am to choose but one of these stones?"
A Rock 'n Roller fighting on the side of light. With weapon in hand, he sets forth to fight the forces of an american jackal who's mastery of machinery makes his Machiavellian mechanizations invert to reveal his primary pronunciation.

Nine great battles, and 79 skirmishes against the generals sees this man fighting futile and fumbling foes who's blocks, strikes, and tactics become his own. He learns from those he defeats and integrates them into himself to face off against the nemesis of all. Time and again he defeats this dastardly deviant only to learn that in a few years he's free to foment the fight again, with new foes and fighters.

Yet in the distance a whistle warns all, and we know the day is to be saved.

Put on your hard hats, gentleman.
One eye closes. Both eyes close. Both eyes fall.
