    They are identical. You should not use Change Appearance. It sometimes overlays the existing weapon with the skin you are trying to look at (sometimes it does not even show the new weapon at all).

    Actually equip both orbs (Shards and Crystals) and you will see they are identical.

    I went with Evil, but that's a favorite aesthetic of mine anyway. The bare midriff annoyed me the whole time I was leveling. I wore the Illithid robes until I got epic gear. It took a long time to figure out out to transmute a bound item, but I love these so much.

    Archmage set, with the chest transmuted to Illithid Robes of Control, ebon darkness dye on the rest.
    Cloak (not shown) is the Amulet of Fire transmuted to House Xorlarrin Cloak. I'm thinking of dyeing the golden stuff red but haven't made up mind yet.
    Ancient orb with normal Terror enchant.

    If I ever decide to get T2 armor (HV probably) they'll be transmuted to Illithid Robes of Domination. I'll keep both and switch out as needed for the task at hand.

    I had a long break and am reconsidering picking up the game again.
    Anyway, i have yet to find some simplistic boots and wraps, most of the designs in this game are a little bit too much for my liking. I am also thinking about changing the hair to red.

    Epic Dread Vault, I guess is where they drop. The blue robes (of control) either drop in normal Dread Vault or in the final dungeon instance of Whispering. I did both normal DV and the Whispering questline around the same time back but it's been awhile. I don't think the Domination robes are that expensive on the AH.

    Luckily, I now stick out against ANY background in just about every dungeon. Makes healing me a bit easier XD.

    I have never seen such a weird color scheme before. It looks almost photoshopped!

    Its fixed on the preview shard..somewhat. You no longer loose your hair. But now your hair will clip into the hat. Depending on your style it can clip pretty awfully. Still, ill take the clipping over the bald no ears look.

    I dont get why all of the other classes in this game stand idle normally when a CW looks like they are going to fist someone in the face if you get near, it looks stupid. I wish they would un-ball the hands on CW's. Also all of the gear for CW's in this game to me either looks like they are wearing pads as in a football uniform or a 1970's track suit, they are ugly. I love the witch hat also but I dont like being bald I would rather have the clipping, too bad the stupid hat is an AD sink in the game.

    Give me this to wear instead
