Hello, Im trying my first serious quest in the foundry, and im stuck in picking up a journal and reading it, i need to show some entries cus the quest need that information.

what i need to do is to pick it up <- done
and to be able to read it, like using it from my inventory or something like that, like some quests in game that gives lore or information.

I just dont know how to do it i have been wrestling with some ideas, and ill probably use the excuse that there is not enough light and then make a lamp or a fire to ineract with you while carring the journal.

actually i think i just solved my dilema, but i would be nice to be able to have lore pages.

thanks guys if you know any other solution please let me know.

You can't use inventory items. In fact, unless you have a very good reason for it, avoid using items altogether for this kind of thing. It's just going to take up inventory space. Have the player interact with the journal instead of picking it up, then present its contents through dialogue.
