I have a level 34 cleric, something I noticed about the Healing word skill, when I apply it to myself, the amount of indicated HP gained, which is the green number with a lightning bolt next to it starts off low, like 200, then steps up to 1K and eventually 2K per second, now I have 9K HP at this point, and I am getting at most 1k-2k HP gained with this skill, even in Divine mode. So the indicated amount of HP healed seems wrong, or am I missing something here? Is the green number not actually the actual amount healed?
I would like to find out if anybody else observed this, It's been like this since Level 1 or whenver it was I got the healing word skill, seems to indicate much more health gained than actually did.
I would also like to add, that sometimes I crit heals of about 3K in Healing Word and I only see marginal gains on my HP bar, again seem to suggest the indicated amount of healed HP is overestimated...
You mean the numbers are accumulative sums, rather than the gained amount per instance?
Oh that's what you meant. Yea, single abilities repeated multiple times, if fast enough, merge into a single number. It happens with melee attacks on rogues/fighters as well.
Same thing goes for your DOT spells. Their damage number is a cumulative not a per tick
if you are near dead and start healing word yourself. You can see it climb up to 10k. That is not 10k per tick lol
