Mail after server merge. Curious.

I'm just curious how the server merge will affect the current mail.

I have characters on different servers but when I mail items to myself they are saved per server.
When the servers eventually merge will the mail be merged as well or will items in the mail system be lost?

I originally assumed that since we mailed to our @accountname that it was being saved in an account-based mail system.

It's not a big deal now. I just hope that I am not away on business when the merge happens and items in the mail system will be lost after the merge. :cool:

    I'm missing something, is there such a low turn out that they're going to merge servers already?!!!!?

    Merging into one server architecture was always the plan and was stated from the beginning when open beta started. STO and CO have been that way all this time. It works and isn't related to population.

    As far as the mail goes, I don't think there will be a problem. I can see the mail from STO and CO while I'm in NW even, because it's tied to my account. I have faith in them that it'll all work out.

    ... We're gonna need a lot more lag reducers on z-shop and built in spam filters of Zone for Protector's Enclave.

    Nah. It'll just spawn more zones of them.

    That said, yeah, Zone will be even more of a mess than it is now (but then again I keep Zone off in all of Cryptic's titles so this doesn't affect me personally).

    I'm starting to learn from my errors of not. When I see the same thing posted ten times within the span of 5 seconds along with 70 other super serious messages ... it's a bit out of hand.
