Gateway & The "One Time" Confirmation

Not sure where to put this because the feedback forums seem to be gone. So, apologies if this is the wrong place.

Loving the game and especially loving the Gateway! Thank you for both! :)

Two feedback items about the Gateway:

1. I use the Gateway from both home and the office. Although I understand why the "one time" confirmation email is important, can it actually be limited one time on each computer? I ask it to save the browser, but I still get prompted for the one time confirmation each time I use my home computer and my work computer. I do have cookies enabled in both locations, so it's not a cookie issue.

2. I often get a message that says, "Disconnected from Gateway. Invalid request made by browser." This usually happens when I'm switching between characters. I'm forced to log in again. Not the biggest problem, but hopefully one you can get rid of.

Thanks!

Happens to me every 3 to 5 minutes, while in the professions window online. I use my Nexus 7 tablet to work on crafting. Consistently logged out, even if actively using the app. I do not have connection issues anywhere else but this website/profession app.

    Anyone else?

Yeah, I have the same problem. Even though I tick on the option to remember the browser/PC, every time I have to login to the Gateway, I need to enter a "one time code" (yeah, right) and get sent the email with the code. Every single time. It gets pretty annoying after a while.

What web browser are you using. I don't have any issue when I use chrome. In another topic someone was having this issue using internet explorer.

the login code stuff happens every time I use a fresh browser window, in Seamonkey, Firefox, Waterfox, IE8, IE9 and the default android browser.
even when I stay at home, or stay at work.

This happens to me in IE9 and in Safari. I haven't tried Chrome or Firefox.

Sounds like your ISP is switching IP adresses while you are online.

I am pretty sure the cookie downloaded after verification is for whatever IP you wee on when it was issued. When the game pings you and sees another adress, it will drop another verification on you.

    Gotta love Phishers for this.

I am constantly being sent new "one time" codes, but every confirmation shows me at the exact same IP address. Nothing is changing on my end at all.

If that was the case only.... It's the same IP for almost 2 years now both on my work and at home (verified by myself and checked with the info for the verification of the gateway...
(I think my servers wouldn't like switching IPs too, and those have no issues)

Same here. My IP doesn't change, but every time I have to login, I get sent the "one time" code and have to enter it.
