Three days and still cannot use Specials

Never been out this long for me. I cannot place special markers (doors, music, points of interest, etc). Does anyone else have this issue? A fix for it?

    So frustrating to not be able to use the marker mostly. I build allot off of those :(

    Honestly, I'd uninstall the game and then reinstall it.
