What is the purpose of "+x" on items? I've seen two items with exactly the same stats, but one of them had +2 next to it.
I would have taken a screenshot, but I don't know how in game.
Oh, wait. I guess that makes 2 things. Can anyone help me out?
Usually the +x does seem to indicate better stats on an item. The two you were looking at, were they identical aside from the +2? Was the +2 one maybe equippable at a lower level than the other?

No, I looked over these items like 20 times to find something that was different. I've asked quite a few times in global, and no one seemed to have a solid answer. I guess I'll have to dig a little deeper. Maybe it changes something in the character sheet that isn't shown on the item itself...
Ah, ok. I guess I was reading too much into it. I saw that the mounts had up to +3 with stat changes to speed. I just thought that would translate into gear as well.
Disappointing and confusing all at the same time. Why put something like that on gear if it doesn't even matter?

I still don't know too much but the mount thing I believe may be from the extra training you can purchase for them.
Sword of Something +1 = Does 15 to 25 damage
Sword of Blablabla = Does 15 to 25 damage
..... does that mean they are the same thing??? The item description says they both do 15 to 25 damage. Is there some hidden roll somewhere where that +1 is applied? Or is Sword of Something actually 14 to 24 damage but with +1 it becomes 15 to 25 damage?
It's just a flavor text they use so they can keep saying that this game is "Dungeons and Dragons" based.
I mean maybe at an early stage of development they wanted to implement actual D&D systems (like DDO implemented them) but at some point they just said " **** that, it would be too complex for our target audience" and went with simpler system copy pasted from WOW instead.
These names are just remnants of that phase of development.

Hit print screen, go to your default paint program, and hit paste, there you have your screenshot you can save anywhere you like. Do this and let us see the shots. I think the naming system was thrown together pretty quickly cause many items have the same names and totally different stats.
