I do not get it, its not like we are in 2004 or something, there are so many people who does not care about story line or quests or anything like that, there are so many people who just want to reach max lvl and enjoy endgame!! Why do you destroy powerlvling foundries? Yesterday we had so much fun playing with friends lvling our alts to 60 that way (our 2nd 60s, we didnt have these foundries on headstart, so we lvld normal way), we were talking and watching stream and just enjoying the game, as soon as this quest was taken down, all went to bed, because nobody wants to grind same old quests like every MMO of today has. Please be more more open minded about staff like that, there are different type of players and if you have introduced foundry you should have thought of that. I knew those quests will exist and be popular when you introduced foundry.
PS. I wish i could tip more than 500 AD to those smart players who create foundries like that, respect to you people.
There are still powerleveling missions in the foundry and from dev created content. The exploit missions are what is being removed. Mobs that can't fight back or mechanics that allow exploits are a no no. Please keep the herp of the derp in check when making stupid requests. Generally it's a bad idea to admit you're exploiting.
Why have a leveling process at all? Just give us all level 60 characters so we can complain that there is nothing to do in the game..... Wait that doesnt work well for a RPG
Why is this kid even playing MMOs in the first place. If he wants a 3 hour experience go play Devil May Cry genre game. I think he simply wants the satisfaction of knowing he is getting ahead of other players by cheating.
So you want devs to keep exploits in, huh? Doesn't work like that. Also, please is only three more letters than plz, I'm sure it's not that hard to type.
Good luck catching up solo to any friends you have who started a week before you did without Foundry exp. Trying to play solo with the cleric companion at ~ level 40 is depressing.

Wow, way to want to exploit some more people like you is what ruins the game.

Stop making stuff up. I have 2 60's, it's not hard to level. The first I did every quest in the game zones. The second I did the Foundry Gauntlet - you know, the one you actually have to KILL the mobs. Like it's real tough to level in this game.

Dude, leveling is really easy. and enjoyable. They're only removing the lame, cheapass ones like that crappy quest with all the ogres in a hole that can't hurt you. There are still power leveling quests, you just have to do something other than shooting fish in a barrell.

... Are you seriously trying to say that people without morals are better than people with morals? That's... You have hurt my brain.

Great Weapon Fighter tanks? Who are you kidding? Cleric tanks. They draw -all- the aggro.

I was just lamenting how much happier that guy would be without any morals. I can't understand being so mad other people are doing stuff that doesn't affect them.

Not real good friends if they couldn't be bothered to run a new character through some levels with you.Without even pushing hard level 30 can be achieved in a days playtime.playing solo at level 40 with a cleric companion is your choice not to party up.nothin to be done about that except make the choice to party and maybe make some new friends.

I think the saddest thing is that you have no idea how stupid you sound.
This isn't about morals, its about not being a lazy ****wit when playing a game, and abusing a really cool system because for some reason leveling once or twice an hour is too slow for you.

So your argument is "Power Levleing is ok....as long as you do it the way YOU want everyone to do it" instead of allowing someone to shoot ogres in a hole? Bet you would like to be dictator of the world too :P Its a game, if someone wants to level by shooting fish in a barrel so be it...who are you or I to tell them what to do with their time?
If your hand touches metal, I swear by my pretty floral bonnet I will end you.
WHY would you want to just skip all the content and level to 60 in this manner? What exactly do you plan to do once you are 60? Complain that "there is nothing to do" and quit?
Did you play City of Heroes right around the time the Architect came out? People did pretty much this same thing to the point where the Devs had no choice but to nerf the rewards massively to offset the abuse of the system. This in turn lead to fewer people creating content and less of it in general.
With guys and gals tearing the system apart, it has to be patched back together within balanced metrics. And that tends to mess up overall functionality.

I never really understood the huge focus on levelling. Why not just have all MMOs act like Guild Wars 1 where the levelup process is pretty much just a tutorial for the real game?
Didn't realize I was supposed to be sparking anything...Just making my own opinion known...we are permitted that here...I think...
Edit: I do have a question.....why do you have to skip content if you power level up a few before running the quests?...so the fights are a bit less hectic and you can take your time to look around more...?
If your hand touches metal, I swear by my pretty floral bonnet I will end you.
People who level their first character through the "training ground" foundry quests and skip the whole content won't stay long after they hit 60 anyway, so, it's all right! More 60s means faster dungeon queues at 60, and I appreciate that part. I find it short-sighted to skip all the quests and the zones, but if people want instant gratification, then no amount of arguing about it will change a thing.
The only thing that bugs me is the foundry farming spam in the chat. I must have ignored about twenty people just today.

Lets see, as long as you don't stick an ogre in a hole, where they can't hit you back and all you do is tap a button over and over. Which is like, the opposite of what was intended with this system ...
YEAH, yeah thats exactly what I'm saying.
Would I love to be the "dictator of the world" No, I wouldn't, but thanks for reminding me what an awful argument looks like.
If you want to shoot fish in a barrel you're an idiot. Sorry but you don't want to play a game.
So yeah to answer your question you're ****ing right. Only my one requirement, is that you don't abuse a quest construction kit like its a god **** cheat engine.
Oh and its not just me, its Cryptic that is also saying that. you know, the people who made the system you seem to think is a cool way to bypass the bulk of the game to do...what exactly?

If it's anywhere near as stupid as you actually getting on my case about this, then I have a pretty good idea.
