Where go in order to see "world map"?

Greetings
I dont know if i miss something but i cant find a way to change area.
I have finished all quests in Chasm area and now i am supposed to return to Protector's enclave in order to continue to a new area.
When i click on the quest there is no arrow that will lead me to Protector's enclave and i cannot find a mark on the map that will show me where i have to go in order to open the "World area map"
In maps as big as in chasm there is no way for me to remember where i entered this area in first place.Can someone give a hint on what i should do?

    When you press M it should give you a map that includes the zone entry / exit to the world map (from where you can select Protector's Enclave or Helm's Hold or whereever you want to go). May not have a glowy trail to it, but it should be marked on the map anyway as a point of interest.

    Well in areas like Chasm where you have to enter many different "portals" it aint easy to travel through each portal till you find the correct "point of interest". Also that points of interest name has nothing to do with words like "exit" "starting point" etc
