Launcher "Unable to Authenticate"

I apologize if there is information on this already, but I cannot find it.

Upon starting up my launcher this morning, I am prompted to input my User Name/PW. When I do, and I hit connect, It appears to do nothing for a moment, then I get a message in the area where the patcher bar shows up saying "Unable to Authenticate" ... Anyone know why this would be happening?

    Yeah, I deleted my chars and figured id remake (since i wasnt that far in yet anyways) then I go to log back on and get this error...

    same happened to me, and gateway is also down (says it's for maintenance on gateway)

    Confirming, problem still exists.

    its cause the server works at max_load. Spam login and it should be fine. Any queue would be fine in the near future ^^

    ok sweet. Also, I tried again and got the "Oops! Your game launcher has crashed. Please indicate what you were doing at the time of crash", then it went away, I started it again and got some error about the website being down, and now I can log in just fine :)

    Same here. Game froze during Domination and now I am unable to login at all.
    Do or do not, there is no try.

    Had the same issue. Tried again now and seems fixed.

    me 3 =( right after my dungeon popped game crashed and now i can't get back in =(((

    I got it also not sure what's up. I was trying to login why I was on lunch. I'm sure they will get it up and running....I hope lol

    both gateways and launcher are back up.

    Man I got lucky I just finished putting my Crafting dudes to work for the next 11 hours and was looking at the auction house when bam down it went. Glad I got them put to work before it died :P

    I have fixes for this but not for free xD

    1.Create a new acount
    2.Log on at your new account in luncher
    3.Close luncher
    4.Log on at your old account and Play
