Control Wizards are an amazing class, they have a great design and are crucial with the current PvE state. It's great to play a game that isn't your normal run of the mill tank n' spank. I do, however, feel that they need to be balanced and fixed in PvP.
I'm not saying the cc they have should be nerfed to extensive levels, but I feel that diminishing returns need to be slightly more effective. To me, this is only half the problem...
My main problem with CW's is their ability to crash the client repeatedly. I've been in several games thus far with 4 CW's and 1 TR (seems to be the new 'metagame'). After a short time of being cc'd by all four, your client crashes... At first, I thought it was just under some random circumstance, but after a few more games, I realized it only happens with a combination of excessive CC.
I'm sure I'm not the only one complaining about things being broken or classes needing balancing, but I feel the client crashing is pretty crucial and should be fixed when possible. Anyone else encounting any issues with client crashes, etc.?

If you could pay attention you'd see it's the TR crashing the client, not the CW. There's already a bunch of threads on this.

Toxic smartasses such as yourself should stay off of the forums and keep your vile, useless posts away from logical discussions.
As said before, the only time I've crashed is when being cc'd by more than two CW's. TR's may also be crashing the client, but in this specific instance, CW's are the culprit.

Boldly spoke by someone with ANY facts to back this up, unlike the numerous detailed reports of TR's being the culprit.
As for diminishing returns, what part of "CONTROL wizard" is unclear? Using your logic, rogues should have diminishing returns on ALL attacks until even at-wills reach 1 damage, until a cooldown timer resets. Same with all GWF attacks, GF blocks and armor, and ALL cleric heals and AoE spells.
TR are strong in pvp because few people use warriors in pvp. Burst dps > cloth and casters in general. Casters > warriors, and warriors tankyness > burst damage. But, because ther's a but, Rogue have some features that let them shine in pvp. Maybe it's too early, and the majority of players need to lear how to deal with it. Rogue can hide and are hard to catch even with CC. I have not much problem with my GF with TR and CW, but i need a team that knows what is doing. I can assure kills with CC, defend a point even when enemies are 2 or 3 for some time, stop the TR from killing casters. This is the GF role, the problem is that GWF need more love If they could do more in pvp i think there will be more balance.
If you take a look at the bug report forum, you will see that the client crashes are caused by a specific Trickster Rogue's ability. This has nothing to do with CWs.
