It's supposed to be too hard? That doesn't make any sense. Have you been stacking encounters or something? I'd love to test it, but that little tidbit raises all kinds of alarms in my head.

It's not a grindfest/exploit-map. No. There is plenty of mobs, hard mobs that can beat you down. It's supposed to be hard*, not too hard. Early monday morning = lots of typos!

As the first part of the quest states "Down to hell", it looks like this one is right down there itself. In other words, still need more reviews...
