Transferring Astral Diamonds/Guild Bank Issue

Alright, so I know there isn't a way to transfer AD to another character, besides putting something on the Auction House and having someone else buy it. Although that has a posting fee, and takes 10% off the final amount gained.

My problem was that me and a group of friends created a Guild and wanted a guild bank to store items, and help each other out. The Guild Bank Tabs cost a total of 150,000AD and add 150k each tab. So the final tab costs around 1.2mil AD. Do you see the problem here? I really don't think just one person in the guild is going to have around 3,000,000AD [rough estimate for what it costs for all the tabs combined] just to buy some guild bank tabs.

So comes my suggestion. Can we possibly have a Astral Diamond Guild Bank Storage? That way the guild can store the AD and we can use it to purchase new bank tabs when we need them. Makes sense, right?

The only thing we can store right now is gold, which seems a bit useless if you ask me, seeing as most items are purchased with AD.

    I am guessing they don't want a way to swap AD between accounts.

    Alternate (yet similar) solution: "Guild Bank Tab Layaway". Allow all member to chip in what they can and when it hits the cost, that tab opens up. The AD will be non-refundable. Have the hover over tip say how much is left on that tabs tab,if you will. This way all members can put in what they can, and it wouldn't be used to move cash around.

    Me and my guild having the same issue with Guild Bank. We hvae more than 30 members, and as a whole, we could afford it, but we can't.
    My solution for this issue? While creating the guild, please allow us to store AD in Guild Bank (even without tabs) or change the currency to the Gold if it's transferable between players.

    I really like this idea.

    I'm guessing the reason they lock it down so hard is to stop Gold Farmers from ruling the market. Which makes sense, but PLEASE give us a way to pay for guild tabs instead of this stupid system they have now.

    Gold farmers willl just get people to post specific items at a price and buy them to get the AD to players, that's all.

    This is possible as this is how Starbase projects are set up in STO with dilithium. Everyone can contribute what they can when they can.

    There is another way to transfer AD using the Zen exchange. If you think about it you'll figure it out.

    So they even have it in another one of their games? Well, then it may be possible soon.

    Yeah, I know there are multiple ways but I would rather not have to do some weird alternate way.
