Will the server every be one big server someday? I thought cryptic had mega server tech. you did for champions online

    As soon as they get through peak usage periods without peak concurrency that would result in unmanageable queues with a single shard, they'll merge them.

    I'd be quite surprised if it doesn't happen before the end of the month.

    I'm 99.99999% sure that there will be one server once the population levels out.

    I came to these forums to find out 1 thing.
    On June 20th when the game is officially released will there be a new fresh server to join? Or should I keep playing open beta?
    If they merge long time down the road, I don't care.
