Cw controls do scale back. Entangling force in pve holds mobs and bosses for 5-7 secs while in pvp it only will hold a player for a max time of 2 seconds
Damage is already nerfed. Check your tooltips in PvE for the base damage of a skill then check it again upon zoning into PvP. Be amazed. CC has a reduced time in PvP as well.

frozen, pushback, frozen, force choke ...repeat ..finally dead. as a rogue. what is wrong with this game. oh and ...nope, no L2P issue because every time I wanted to land a skill, no matter what, the wiz just ported away and all I saw was that "DODGED" reading above his head....yeah ...

You are pointing at your lack of skill. The only frozen stun takes more then 6 solid constant seconds of getting pounded by a bright blue beam. Even with a stream you can dodge out of it.
As dar as the knock backs go, getting pushed away puts you out of the range of the cw cc. If you get stunned after that it would be cause like a rere you didn't try a sneaky strategy and ran toward the cw head on.
Try to use your immunity to cc skill sometimes or even your crippling shadow step attack and stop relying on smashing your face on the keyboard for your kills

so tyler what do you play im guessing it is a rogue or a cw. cuz i think iv been you around here on the forms kinda bashing anyone that says there is a balance issue with cw and rogues
yes skill does take part in a lot of the pvp but most of the abilities that the cw and rogue have just lock you up or destroy you in one hit and u really cant do **** about it. "this is a lower lvl perspective im not sure if stuff evens out but i watched a few streams and people are getting hit by rogues for 12-19 k dmg and by the look of it, it was about 60-80% of there hp so you cant say use skill with that, or cw locking some one up for 100% of there hp"
all and all in my opinion this game needs a bit of help in the balance department. Dont get me wrong im not looking for a i win button just a bit more equality. But the game is new and im hoping for the best.
Yeah right ...because I didnt do that ...about your last sentence ...cant help you if you refuse to teleport once the rogue is in the air and behind/in front of you ...not my fault. That CW, however, had no issue dodging Dazing strike very time and thus he wasnt cc'd at all.

I play a GWF and to me clerics are the most OP thing in the game in PvP, but I don't come onto the forums and complain because I know they just have a natural edge over my class. I literally eat rogues and control wizards alive, have even ground with GFs and my class, then struggle with cleric. But when I see a rogue on a cleric I watch him get destroyed due to the burst and daze, something I can't do. At the same time a rogue can't do that to me because I can use determination to counter the burst and CC and react with CC of my own. So in this scenario a cleric will find a rogue OP, but I won't.
Other than CW's blink working wonky with the lag (seeing dodge when it clearly hit) I haven't had a single issue with pvp.

I have one of every class at this point except GWF (didnt like bleach) The balance issue is that not all the skills scale correctly in pvp. Ive played TR and CW at lv60 PvP I understand how to lock down a target with a rouge its not hard but impossible if you try to do it head on.

Then you clearly dont utilize your stealth to its potential. If they see you coming yeah they will move if you want your targets to just stand there for you play pve. Stealthing around someone from the back gives you ample time to time your attack to a cw as he starts to do his casts (on which they cant blink or move) Try to play other classes and learn the mechanics of the game.
Just remember as a rogue, the second you dodge out of a CW's way and he gets forced out of combat because you LOS'd him, he loses 5 stacks of mastery that he needs to actually do decent damage so yes it is a L2P thing. LOS the wizard and you win.

What lashing blade does like 2/3 of the cw health with an instant cast time. "strategies" like this work wonders

Pretty much this, I just got out of a match vs 3 CWs, rogue and guard. Absolute annihilation. Perma-stunned anytime I got within range.

If they were sticking together wouldn't that be your groups fault for not holding 2/3 of the nodes. If you were to apply pressure to other nodes they would have to split up
Nope, because in this case the 3 CW's stick together anyways and hold main point. They have enough range that they can outlast the stealth rogues have even with stealth buffs. If by chance you get in you're near-automatically frozen or stunned and the cycle repeats itself.

What you are going to see next is those who spend money on the game will buy greater tenebrous enchants and totally stomp those who do not.
The greaters run about 700k AD and if you can afford 5 of them, you will smash everyone.
a rogue 1 shot me today in pvp gg cryptic and it was max lvl and I had full epic armour on I do love the game but I want a nerf buff in pvp to much cc for wizards to and there isn't anything to stop them from constantly cc'ing you

Reduced times in PvP mean nothing when you can be chained cc'd, hence diminishing returns needed.
WOAH HOLD ON YOU'RE NOT SUGGESTING P2W ARE YOU?????? You're about to get flamed by everyone and their grandmother for being correct.
Definitely is P2W. Not only P2W, you have to pay a ton to have access to the win. Which I guess is fine, but I'm not spending any more money on the game or recommending it to anyone anymore.

They hid it so cleverly from the first 40 levels or so that I really thought this was going to be a fair game for awhile. The higher you get, the more you find out unfortunately.

Tried a PvP match for only the second time today as a Guardian Fighter (actual level 23, but of course buffed to 29). I got chain dazed/stunned by two rogues - my non-At-Wills were locked out for several seconds (not sure exact duration, but felt hella long). As this was only my 2nd match, and first as a GF, I know there's a lot I still need to learn.
That being said, there should be diminishing returns/immunities to CC (by source/type*) for a couple seconds.
* = meaning a Rogue ability that haze a daze/stun effect will have its own "lockout" versus an ability from a Control Wizard.

PvP Balance? There is none.
CWs and Rogues dominate the playing field with their chain CCs (mostly CWs).
Force Choke into Ray of Frost stuns alongside their blink ability and Daily AoE Knockback make them impossible to reach as a Guardian, even with the Knee Breaker slow (which is almost unnoticeable). In PvP you can block for a grand total of 3 seconds before your Guard meter runs out and it takes forever to refill.
Not to mention that blocking doesn't block damage from behind? Whereas blink or roll from CW and TRs will dodge any of your Q/E/R abilities from whatever direction you hit them from, even if your character hits them with it on screen. There's basically a 1/2 second window where they are invincible. Also, I forgot that blocking makes your character slower while their blink gives them improved mobility.

there is no balance or order in pvp it's just a zerg rush to nodes and spamming as many cc's abilities as you can.
Meh only play one round for the daily so dont really give two ****s.
Cryptic wont and never will balance their PvP, check their other games and prove me wrong.

PVP is the most fun I've had in PVP ever !
I am so addicted to the PVP in this game that I havent even bothered with any of the PVE content.
From lower level brackets in PVP I thought the classes that I play were quite weak but as I got to the higher brackets I have noticed that Its just because I havent aquired the better powers or feats.
I have one of each class except TR. And this also isnt sarcasm just incase you guys were wondering.

This has been raised several times already.
WOAH HOLD ON YOU'RE NOT SUGGESTING P2W ARE YOU?????? You're about to get flamed by everyone and their grandmother for being correct.
Rogue nerfs have been raised several times as well as price changes to the Zen store. Doesn't mean it's happening.
I expect to see several classes adjusted, Rogue being one of them.
Pretty sure anyone with half a brain or knows how to fully utilize a Rogue, is expecting it too.
