Questions about PVPing as a cleric l60

Hello i just recently dinged 60 through just hardcore grinding quests, so my pvp experience is almost zero in this game.

I have done 10-15 domination matches so far, and i have tried a multitude of combination of abilities to be even remotely useful in a pvp scenario..

My question is what abilities are you people using? are you healing or dmging or controlling ? it seems to be that the healing in this game is rather useless atleast in pvp, the rogues critting 10k+ is simply impossible to do anything about healing wise atleast.

So please explain to me how your successes in PVP has come to pass.

I dont have good pvp gear and skill so i am not crying OMG OP or GIMP OMG!

I just want to know how it is supposed to work.

    You use a combo of all three.

    Divine mode astral shield on the fight. Sun burst for CC, heal, and most importantly action point battery. Third slot is up to you I suppose. I run break the spirit for the dot and debuff. I'll usually use it, the dot at will, and spam sacred flame, these do fairly good single target dps.

    You want action points as much as possible for hallowed or divine armor. I use hallowed to give the dps classes more dps. Mainly because between hallowed and astral shield you are incredibly durable and don't need the extra temp HPs. If you have built for action point gains, you can keep hallowed up almost non stop in a fight. My record is 15 seconds to fill up my action points. Though with you getting focused a bit, that goes down dramatically as you try to survive vs. doing damage.

    You also want to be feated for divine power gain as much as possible. You will tear through your divinity. Luckily our pvp set gives 20% more divine building. Along with all the feats for it, you can keep it going good though you will still run out occassionally.

    P.S. Class abilities will be the action point gain one and foresight. The second daily will be hammer. It does incredible damage even if you are building for survival.
