Feature Request ~ Multiple Builds

I would like to see 2 or more builds available for my character. A build not only includes the Power and Feat points spent, but also what gear the player chooses to go with those spells and points.

I think that 2 builds should be standard for each character, and additional builds (up to a total of 5, or whatever the devs find reasonable) could be available for purchase (per character) from the Zen store.

Over 50 views and no one thought this was important enough to reply?

I've seen more than one comment where people are griping about not being able to respec for PvP, this is one possible solution. Make a PvE build and a PvP build.

I agree it will be a pain to respec everytime you need or want to try something else and it will cost a lot. 2 builds by default would be nice.

Doesn't matter if its important or not.
It simply won't happen no matter how you cry, demand, ask or argument it.
Its F2P game and they need to make money somehow as well.
Be happy you can get zen for ADs.

That attitude is too fatalistic for my taste. You never know if it would be possible. Give the option to unlock two steady specs for 15 bucks and there you go. Yeah its money, but I know that I'm going to A respec often to figure out how well I like different specs, Or say screw it and go back to playing league of legends.

... or I can stay unhappy and stop playing. How much money are they making off of me then?

Well, this model works more or less like this:
    -make F2P MMO
-drag as many players as possible with steady influx of new players from ads
-make things of convinience cost $
-aim for small/medium % of playerbase to pay for it enough to sustain a game
-don't care for mass crying full F2P, because it doesn't work that way

Been on quite a few F2P games and believe me, at the end they all get their money, difference comes in how they do. They decided to make respec for $ while still allowing to trade in game currency for cash shop currency. Pretty friendly model for hardcores and dedicated players, some casuals will buy it, others rage, quit, go to another game and repeat the cycle in their limbo for taking literally F2P game model.

First off, I'd rather pay a sub of $10 (all this game deserves, I'd pay $20 for a real MMO) than get gouged by ridiculous prices like the ones currently in the C Store.

The issue here isn't about not wanting to pay, it's about wanting to get decent value for the money I do spend. However all the F2P game companies seem to feel that I should personally support at least 10 or 15 people who aren't spending, and I just decline to do that.

The only reasonable price in the C Store currently is for extra character slots.

As a footnote, I'm currently paying $15 to sub to another MMO.

Now, to get back on topic here....

The reason I suggest making the 2nd Build slot free is because this game wants to encourage PvP. Well if you want more PvPers you have to make it more convenient for them. But there are plenty of reasons for additional builds (including the gear in the build) than just PvP. They've got a fairly flexible system here, all they really need is a convenient way to swap from a solo build to a PvP build to a team build, to a DPS build, etc, etc, etc. Or a Solo build to a Solo PvP build, to a dedicated duo PvP or, well you get the idea.

I wasn't kidding when I suggested 5 build slots as the minimum to expand to.

The reason why nobody answered this properly was either because:
    - They don't know whether they need 2 different builds or not (assuming they get their builds straight, as the need to respec is a different matter)
    - They see that the number of power points they get is sufficient for multiple sets of skills, and usually for one paragon (the only one that is available now), each class mostly will only go down to one set of feats (not one of the 3 paths, but a selected combination of feats) with slight diversification.

I think they should just have it seperated for pvp and pve at the very least.

Like GW2 has it, completely different slots for gear and skill set ups etc.

GW2 is not an mmo. It is a lobby based pvp game with pve just so that it doesnt look like a fool

What is this WoW you speak of? Literally, I've never played it. Not from lack of awareness, but rather lack of interest.
