Hello everyone, i come in peace. Now lets discuss neverwinter cash shop, its prices and lets try to make it constructive and hope mods dont delete our topic. So no fighting, yelling, quote wars and such :)

First of all, let me say that i really appreciate cryptic and pwe for giving us a chance of making 24k AD per day. Afterall thats almost half a $, so kudos for being so generous. At first i was really happy that we can actually make diamonds via gameplay, thats it until i realized it would take me anywhere between 20 and 800 days to actually buy something via diamonds you earn on daily basis. Everything in this game costs either diamonds or zen, and as if that wasnt bad enough - they mixed it with insanely high prices.

So here am i, with a friendly suggestion - please, for gods sake, lower cash shop prices so this game doesnt end up like allods. Quite frankly current cash shop prices are ridiculous and are generating lots of hate (unlike gwf's) on some of the most popular mmo forums - which cant be that good in the long run, i suppose?

ps (high cash shop prices defenders - please read)

That said, i also realize some of forum posters might not like or want lower cash shop prices, because apparently they think they should pay $40, or more, per imaginary mount. Btw im NOT against you giving cryptic/pwe more money, for all i care you could donate them millions tomorrow. But please, keep in mind most of us dont feel like (read cant afford) $100 for basic stuff just to discover how end game itself is balanced around zen and diamonds. And not small amounts either, mind you.

PS jr:
Please, let us show how unhappy we are with the fact it costs $10 to have enhance higher than 1%?

I agree that the Zen Store items are rather pricey, and could use a reduction. But please keep in mind, the game is entirely free to play. No gated content. The game does need monetary support, however. I would like expansions and added classes/races, and these need to be paid for. So a reduction is price would be helpful, but not too much.

Also, if you sell things on the AH, those diamonds are already refined, and you can sell some items for lucritive amounts of AD. There are ways of getting plenty of AD in a short amount of time.

Perfectworld I understand why you do this however I invite you to look at SOE's cash shop and profit margins take if you will a very successful game weather people love it or not planetside 2.
The most expensive thing on the shop is $15 (only one item) and everything else costs $5 dollars or under.
I understand you have a system that works where the people who can afford $40 on a mount and $40 to convert to AD to train the companions however your cash shop is being surported by maybe 20% of the players (I'd estimate) and 80% spend little or nothing add that to the number of people who leave due to the frustration of such a system and you will see a potential customer base you are missing out on. Me my self I don't mind spending money on a game as long as I feel I'm getting value for my money. If I was to sub for

The only thing that bothers me so far is that respec. I feel that we should at least get a free respec (or a way to earn it in-game) at level 60. My 2 zens :P
