Gateway/Profession bug - tasks not completing when at 100%

G'd day everyone!

The subject about sums it up; one of my characters (a Control Wizard, if it matters) has been leveling Leadership, and recently unlocked a second task slot.

I have in theory completed a task (Guard Duty) but progress bar remains at 100% and does not tick over. If I attempt to pay AD to force a completion, I am informed that it will cost me -1 AD to complete; this does not complete the task, however.

If I attempt to cancel the task, I am informed that this cannot be done, basically tying up half of my Profession capacity.

Anyone else encounter this issue?

I see it happen quite a bit... always with Leadership tasks, it seems like. I have a Protect Caravan Leadership task faux-completed, but I've managed to finish about 3 or 4 10-minute Leatherworking tasks and I still can't complete the Leadership task.

I thought I was having it only with one quest, but now I realized I get this problem at all quests that will give me an item for normal bags. I just can't end those quests sometimes.

I'm having the same problem right now with a mining mission. Can't pay to speed it up (get the same -1 message) and I can't cancel the mission either.

I have the same problem with "Gather wool scraps" in Tailoring. Often it will simply stop at 100% & nothing I do save logging into the game will complete it. I've tried refreshing, paying the "-1" AD, clicking all the other options available (such as checking mail & the auction house) AND closing that browser tab & opening a new one.

Amusingly, now I cannot even log into the Gateway to see what's happening - it times out at the Select Character screen. Perhaps support is mucking with something after I submitted a ticket?

I'll try once I get home; perhaps logging into the game proper instead of just the Gateway may solve things. -.-

I've had that problem, after fixing it in game, i had to log out of the gateway to fix the gateway.

Same here, hope they are fixing it.

I've also hopped back and forth from Chrome to Firefox. Although the new Browser lock is going to make that difficult.

So, I could craft in game last night. Now I could craft a little bit from work today, and now it's frozen again. Same issue, -1 AD cost to finish now, which doesn't work and I can't cancel the job. I guess it's stuck again until I can log into the game. Frustrating.

Edit: I tried logging in and out of the gateway, to see if that works. I have to verify this computer every time I do that, but it still doesn't work. Not sure if the email/verification code happening every time might be related to the system freezing up.
