I just hit 60 today. Took my sweet time doing it as well. Did a lot of foundry stuff on the way, and will keep doing it now that I'm 60. I love some of those stories.
I bought some purple set along with weapon and rope for my GWF, costing maybe a total of some 70k AD or less. You might want to see if there is one for your class as well. Made me a whole lot stronger very cheap, got to around 9k gear score by spending a couple of days worth of AD. Getting good enchants is another thing entirely.
In any case, there seems to be a LOT to do once you hit 60. The letter you get in mailbox details some of it and checking your available dailys reveals more. The queue options also got a lot bigger, there's all kinds of stuff to queue for now. I guess you do what you enjoy at 60, start another char or quit. That's how it's always been for me with MMOs. In this case, there's also the possibility of learning to use the foundry. In any case, have fun.
Holy necro batman ... how many pages back did you have to go to find this? Or did you search something like "lvl 60, now what" ?

To the first page. I googled something similar to what you said, even though I pretty much knew my options. Just wanted to see how people felt about endgame in NW before deciding what to do next. Why, isn't the thread about that? :P
I stopped leveling my GWF at level 55, because no end game is in place.
Sure there is, just nothing very original or in most cases, pleasant. Grind one tier until you can grind another tier until you can grind another tier and so on. I think I'm gonna go learn the foundry, always loved being a DM and things like the foundry are pretty rare in games. As for the rinse and repeat of dungeon running, I think I've done enough years of that. PvP might be interesting, that remains to be seen.
They call it end game for a reason, because it's the end of the game. Time to play something new. Although I see the potential for enjoying end game content long term with the foundry, it's probably not going to happen. It's never going to happen for me because I'm on the dragon server where the only thing people care about it having TR's, CW's, and DC's for dungeon runs.

That sucks for GWFs then. I tried all the classes for the first hour or so and landed on it as the most fun to play personally. I guess fun doesn't factor into it when choosing dungeon parties. Oh well, doesn't take long to level up another toon if I really want to run dungeons but so far playing GWF is still fun. Maybe some of the PUGs succeed or maybe, just maybe, some balance is added so that all classes are wanted in dungeons. Keep measuring the temperature in hell.
