Enchanting empty items bug

I have a group of items that have empty enchantment slots. I have a bunch of enchantments just sitting in my bag unused. I try to place one of these unused enchantments into an empty slot on one of my items. I get a message telling me "One of these enchantments are attached. Removing them intact will cost Astral Diamonds". What are these enchantments attached to? My bag? Why is it trying to charge me to "remove" something that does not need removing?

    I have also received this message. I hope someone might be able to clarify why this happens when the enchantments are level 1 and not fused and are unused. Thanks!

    If you want to remove them later without destroying them, you need to pay AD to.....

    I was about to yell at the guy above me before I realized that the message is actually correct, we just aren't reading it.

    "ONCE" these enchantments are attached, removing them intact will cost astral diamonds. Price: etc.

    how did u place in the first place every I try can't place them at all get a red x
