So I hopped in my Foundry quest on the Live Server(mindflayer) to test out some changes.
I got to the first combat encounter and bam, was unable to attack. This happens a lot IN the Foundry when testing quests, but never outside in the actual game. SO I was confused. I look at my action bar, and for all my encounter and at-wills it says
joy6 joy7 etc etc. I go into they keybindings and to a reset to defaults, but nothing. Apparently the game just decided to make the joystick keys default.
Whats WORSE
is I can not rebind these keys. If i go to rebind it, and press Q or E to rebind them, the key turns blank and unbinds the power completely.
Any thoughts?
Some more info.
It is just Encounter 1 and 2 that bork. I can rebind all the other powers, like at-wills to E and Q, and I can bind mouse clicks to the Encounters, BUT I CAN NOT bind the default Q or E to Encounter powers 1 and 2.
HOwever, I can swap the keys and make Encounter power 1 E instead of the default Q, and Encounter power 2 Q instead of the default E.
This makes no sense. Essentially I can bind whatever I want, But I can not map Encounter power 1 and 2 TO THEIR DEFAULT KEYS!
EVEN MORE HAMSTER just broke.
Apparently I tried to rebind the at wills to right click and left click, which I though was the default. However, doing this puts you into an unbreakable attack animation. So more my rogue, i left clicked and no matter what I did he just spammed his at-will power.
Trying to change it to Left PRESS and right PRESS has the same issue at encounter powers. They will not bind.
A workaround is to bind the keys that are HAMSTER up to the secondary keys. You will still see 'joy6, joy7, etc' on the action bar, but you can use E and Q like normal.
As for the always attack issues, make sure you use LEFT PRESS and NOT LEFT CLICK.

I'm having the same problem as the original poster.
The problem is I cannot reassign my keybinds to left press right press Q or E. Anything else works fine, but not those. I believe the reason is because those keys are used in the foundry editor.
I'm not sure how to fix this issue but it is making it VERY hard to play right now.
It's definitely the Foundry. I fired it up for the first time last night, and all my keys rebound as per the OP.

I ended up completely closing the game and relaunching, this fixed the issue and it has not re-occurred, though I have not been in the foundry creator since.
Comments
Resetting to default gives the chat message "Changed control scheme to Action" and puts those joystick keybindings back into place.
