I have about 10 friends who are all playing NWO, which is great, but I have yet to play with any of them because we are all vastly different levels. I know Cryptic is obviously aware of sidekick/mentor mechanics as it is in their other games but I'm hoping they would consider level down mechanics akin to GuildWars.

I'm sure these features are on some long list of things to add to the game once their servers are no longer on fire... Here's to hoping that posting on the forums will catch their attention and bump it up the dev priority chain.

As fun as their game is I was hoping for more than a single player experience.

I feel like this is absolutely necessary for Neverwinter to hold my interest long-term. CO does it, STO does it, why doesn't Neverwinter do it?

I'm guessing the Cryptic software won't be able to cope with the level locked items so they will need to write new software for it.

There are 9 equippable item slots in Champions Online, and it is able to scale accordingly for sidekicking.

This is a solo game, that takes 3-5 days playing to get to 60.. send your friends items, and ventrillo talk while you play... if youw ant to dungeon crawl with a buddy, you should have stopped outleveling him while you sit in your moms basement eating her cheetos.

There is a sidekick/mentoring system in the game; you just can't do quests, dungeons or pvp using it. Do /team_sidekicking 1 it'll sidekick you to whatever level the party leader is be it higher or lower. And /team_sidekicking 0 to go back your normal level. It's kinda buggy though, you'll need to disband party if you want to swap leader and use a different leaders lvl.

I understand that you and your friends probably want to que for things together, but it can still be fun to set your level to the same and do foundries together.

Side notes: DPS does not scale up well & random loot drops will vary in level based on the original levels of the party members

I'm going to bump this thread because this is something I'd like to see implemented that will work in all parts of the game, not just foundry. I made a cleric, she's level 60, and I'd like to be able to play with lower level friends.
