Winter Wolf - The Mystery Mount

So, -this- lovely creature is on display at the stables:

The only problem? It doesn't appear to be on sale anywhere.

Not for gold, or for AD, or even in the zen store.

So where do you get this? Is it from lockboxes or something?

    There's a Worg mount for sale for 4k zen I believe, then there's a cheaper one. I believe it's the cheaper one.

    I want this to, I dont want a worg I want a Wolf!(the druid inside me is screaming for this mount)
    I am usually Deaths Crowbar.

    I have stood in front of that wolf too, and I would buy it instantly if they offered it in the store. However, if it's not T3 (and the armor-less mounts don't seem to be so far), you would need to pay an additional 2M to upgrade it. I settled for a Twilight mare, but I would really like a T3 mount without armor. Either the wolf or a cat mount.

    I would love a cat mount... A nice Dire Tiger/Panther would be interesting. I kind of like my armored horse, but it's just not the same.

    Where did you get that cloak and axe from? They'd look great on my half-orc GWF (would match the helm and chest similar to yours).

    Also I believe the T2 Wolf mount on the Z-Store is supposed to be that one, but from what I hear it's around half the size.

    I garbed the T2 Worg hoping it was the wolf mount, its not!

    Looks similar but smaller and black i.e. a Worg, hope this clears things up.

    Has anyone else noticed an armored form of the wolf on display? I looked last night as my latest character was picking up a temp horse to clear out the tokens and the giant wolf had armor...

    The size of your mount actually scales with the size of your character.

    Small girl halflings have tiny baby mounts.

    Gant halforc monster guardians fighters that used menace to grow into humongous monsters have mounts of legends =)

    so yea when the winter wolf is released (im sure its a future zen store release, they just like to do one every 1-2 weeks) - yea it will be as big as that one on display, but only for big characters.

    so to answer the op: No it is not yet available in the game.

    Worg != Winter Wolf. Different species.

    Worgs are like evil magical wolves that can use magic.
    Wolves are just wolves.
    Winter Wolves are big Direwolves that live in wintery areas and like the cold.
