gear score keep going up

I am level 60 with a gear score of around 6000. I am limited to certain dungeons like everyone else, BUT I realized when I changed my necklaces my gear score kept going up. All I had to do is change the two pieces back and forth it would go up as high as I wanted it to, and be able to choose any dungeon. But when the dungeon was over it would go back to normal and I would have to do it again.
