Founder's Armor Aura... how to use?

Hello, all! I'm very new to the game. I have a question about one of the items in the Hero of the North pack. I can't figure out how to use the item Founder's Armor Aura. When I double click on it, it brings up a window and it seems I'm supposed to bind the item with something called a 'ward'. What is a ward? I thought I could just add the item to my armor, but that doesn't appear to be the case. If anyone can point me in the right direction, I'd greatly appreciate it.

    you have to get socketed armor first , it goes in a defensive slot. Then you will have a yellow glow . About level 15 they start to drop .

    You will have to wait until you get Armour that has an Enchantment Slot. You can slot the Founder's Glorious Enchantment into this.

    -You can do this by pressing C and checking which piece of gear has a DEFENSE slot usually your Armour/Chest.
    -Right Click and press Enchant
    -Select Founders Glorious Enchantment
