Options - Save UI / Load UI - Howto get it to work?

I went on my main character and clicked save UI at the bottom of the options window. Then I created a new character went into options and clicked load UI, expecting it would, as the tooltip says, load the keybinds I just saved. But nothing happened.

Any hints?

LoadUI/SaveUI does not include Keybindings. It only includes your actual UI elements. To save and load your keybindings across different characters you need to use a slash command.

/bind_save - to save to a default file name
/bind_load - to load from the default file name

/bind_save_file c:\path\to\save_file.txt - Save to a file name of your choosing
/bind_load_file c:\path\to\save_file.txt - Load from a file name of your choosing

You want to use

/bindsave

and

/bindload

in the chat prompt instead to store/recall your keybinds.
