Control Wizard Shard of the Endless Avalanche Power bug

Not sure if this has been mentioned yet. The Bugs forum seems to be about more pressing issues and I didn't want to clog up the works so to speak.

Bug?: If you take the second rank in Shard of the Endless Avalanche power the cool down should be -5 seconds, but it is still ~15 sec in use (should be 10 sec). Perhaps it's meant to say 5%, which would yield 14.25 sec...yuck. I like 5 seconds

I knew it was too good to be true. I only have rank 1 in it atm. I was pretty wary of the 5sec cool down reduction. Probably a typo, either meant to be 5% or .5 sec.

The spell in general seems pretty buggy tho. When I have it slotted in Tab and I choose where it drops and then where it goes to it gets wonky.
It drops at the target location just fine but then when i target where to throw it to sometimes it goes there other times it just goes crazy and kinda bounce jumps in a random direction and sometimes it just blows up or disappears.

It can bounce over objects, gotta watch that. I like normal slotted. Just like bowling ;)

I wanted to bump this issue bug.

I have rank 3 and there is no change in the cooldown at all. Neither -10s or -10% if it is a typo (doubt it's a typo).

When Shard is in the spell mastery slot you don't choose where the shard goes so much as the direction. It always goes the same distance (assuming it doesn't blow up before then). Also, when you pick your direction very near the shard it jumps in that direction. If the target reticle is in the exact same spot as when you summoned the shard it jumps straight up.

    Other bugs:
    The shard disappears if stunned/held.

    Shard does not crit.

The spell mastery version does not always summon the shard, more common if near a wall or in a low ceiling area.

Sometimes Shard goes on full cooldown directly after summoning the shard.

Bumping this as well, I want clarification, is it a bug? Is it a typo? Otherwise I wouldn't bother with this spell at all.

I've noticed this as well. Also, the shard is completely incapable of critically striking anything. On some occasions it'll actually end my Eye of the Storm ability early if I bowl it into a pack of enemies. If it's intended to not crit it should probably be mentioned in its tooltip somewhere.

Really, if you intend to use Eye of the Storm, this power has no purpose in your build except to drop it on someone's head to admire the way it squishes them beneath it.

No that is not a typo, this is the buggiest spell I've seen so far. the skill will still take 10 secs to process even if you remove 10 secs off the cooldown without that reduction it's ridiculously long. Could we get this fixed? The skill also fails to cast if you are holding down other skills, it disappears into walls. If it would work correctly it would be great if it's been misleading people should be able to respec their CWs

stuff like this is why respeccing shouldn't cost money. Its still "beta" they say and we are supposed to test abilities and builds. Please drop the respeccing cost at least until we get the bugs sorted out. Thank you.

Trust me, its free to play I get it you have to make money somewhere and I'm perfectly fine with that but ability typos and certain feats that absolutely do not work make having us pay to retrain absolutely insulting. I know for a fact people are dropping over this, charging us to fix misleading text on abilities and bugs. Silly.
