Y Axis & The Backdrop

I am working on a map that uses an ever heightening Y axis. The problem is once you get to a certain point the backdrop simply drops off into a solid color example image below...



Is there anything I am missing in the settings that would fix that? If not has there been any mention of an update for this in the future? Hopefully I am missing something simple or a fix is coming because it would be a shame to not be able to take advantage of the full power of this toolset.

No, that's how it is. You can even see it in a few official game maps available in the Foundry if you're careful with your jumping. It's a game engine thing, not a setting.
