Question about armor

Hi guys I had a question about Armor appearance in the game. I am level 18 CW and my robe has look quite the same the whole way there. I was wanting to ask do we have to find something to change the appearance of the armor ourselves or are there not too many different designs to armor as you level up. Not really complaining, just curious.
