queues no big deal

I see a lot of people complaining about the queues and just wanted to say that its not a big deal. I'll bet the majority don't mind and only the vocal minority is complaining.

This happens during most mmo launches and its actually beneficial to have queues instead of the alternatives:
1. Lag or unable to connect
2. A ton of servers with very low populations where its hard to find a group

I'll be looking up guides or playing another game while I wait for the queue to pop :)

For full disclosure, I have not invested any money in this game and don't mind if people who did pay get to skip the queues.

well, read before you buy. Clearly says you don't get que skipping with the guardian pack.

I support you on that and I think most players who haven't paid for the packs would do so too. I can only see the $200 players the only ones to disagree. Still, I think queues won't last more than a week or two anyhow.

None of my queue times have been ridiculously long, as the longest has only been 30 minutes. There are plenty of things to do in that 30 minutes, game related or otherwise, and usually you'll be in before you realize it. The only thing I can think of that might be driving some players batty is sitting in place and watching the queue timer tick down and up with that bug. Not sure why anyone would do that though...

As for the money portion of this argument on the forums, it's already been explained that Guardians never were promised priority queue access. Even if they were, priority queue access doesn't mean queue skipping. We all still have to queue up, for the time being.

I wonder how many of these PWE users complaining about their "Guardian" and "HoTN" purchases being shafted actually made such purchases. ;)
