We all know that a lot of you people have to wait in a queue to play. This has been addressed and they are taking the servers down to attempt to fix it. They have said that the numbers you are seeing are not accurate as to where you are in the queue.
The game hasn't even been released for open beta for 24 hours and all I see is whine, whine, whine. I hate to say it but it seems the Guardians are actually whining the loudest. "I paid $60 and I deserve to get in ahead of the free players." What a cop out! If you bought the Guardian pack then you definitely looked at the Hero of The North Pack, and when you read everything that the Hero of The North Pack offered you saw that they would be able to bypass the Queue or be put on a higher priority to get in ahead of others. Now that the queue is in effect you feel that you are entitled to get in ahead of the free players. Wrong answer I am afraid. You got exactly what you paid for which was a Mount, Pet, Astral Diamonds and a lot of other goodies. If yyou thought that the Guardian Pack should include a boost in the queue then you should have said something. Now that there is one all people want to do is rage. I didn't want to spend $200 but I did because the ability to bypass the queue is something that appealed to me. That and I liked a lot of the goodies that were included in the HoTN pack. In a couple weeks it isn't even going to matter because there will most likely be no queue anyways.
I remember when SWTOR launched and there was a queue, I was literally disgusted at all of the hate threads because people have to wait to play a video game. The internet sure can make people into real jerks, that is for sure.

I'm pretty good at reading details and totally missed the queue jump part, or I really would have given more thought to shelling out even more. Now I'm considering trying to upgrade by paying the difference but they want the full $200 and not the difference. As if us Brits aren't getting ripped off enough by being forced to pay in Euros rather than dollars as it is. $59.99 is roughly
Apparently you also missed the detail stating that you cannot upgrade from Guardian to Hero. It clearly states in the FAQ that the Founders packs were all separate of each other and can only be purchased individually.
I have been reading about how Europeans have to pay more for the game and I honestly don't think that it is fair. But the world isn't a fair place unfortunately. I wanted to buy a bunch of Dwarven Forge from the Kickstarter that just ended, but I live in Canada and they wanted $200 to ship a $260 order and everyone in the states gets free shipping. I just couldn't justify that so I went without. Sadly some people end up suffering based on the demographic we reside in.
And if I didn't have 3 kids and a mortgage and other bills and a higher income I'm sure I would have forked out for the $200 pack....
The queue isn't a issue, its the wait time in the queue that is. You would expect 2-5min, not 30+mins. 10mins ago I was 15000 something in the queue, I am now 11,000 in the queue, legit numbers not the bug people are talking about. So at this rate I will be in game in about 25min. My friend is 13000 something, we are both slowly getting lower, but very slowly.
As for the OP, all I see is another HOTN customer who does not have a problem with Queue's Whining about the whiners.... So great work on been a whiner yourself mate, least we have a reason unlike you.

People are always pissed about something. Taxes, Cost of Living, the list goes on and on. Don't feed the hate machine by acting like it is ok to be a jerk because on the internet we are all anonymous. There is more to life than being angry about things that are out of your control.
Oh the good old days of waiting in an arcade queue via quarter. I remember back when MK 1 was released in the arcade and the bowling alley I would go to would have lines clear down to the lanes just to fight the winner. Good times.
The two people that I play with are Guardians as well. But they know what they bought and aren't complaining about it. We adults know that things will get better as time goes on, and now that the game is in Open Beta we have time. Thanks for contributing to my thread.

I am hoping this is just a stop-gap measure to keep the servers up while they either find a fix or add\upgrade hardware.
Even if it's beta, there are reasonable expectations to meet.
Dead? far from it you realize the reason your in a queue is there's to many players trying to enter the game right? Anyway the changes they are making should fix the queueing.
I got news for you people about being a HoTN. If I know how to display my title than I sure as hell know how to hide it. If I was a PWE user I would have a more solid opinion? No. You are coming after me because of a purchase I made? I bet you would hate me even more if I drove a Ferrari and had my Million dollar home paid off.

The maintenance is to fix the problems. If you noticed the launcher said there would be maintenance between 7 and 11 Pacific Time. So yes, seriously.

So true. Instant gratification is all the gaming world has become. Some people don't understand MMO gaming is not relative to console gaming at all. It is just "I want to play now and can't."

That doesn't mean you can use profanity against others, for me you can curse all you want but not insult someone that didn't say anything against.

I am not a marine but i work , i am a person like you , an engineer and very used to this already, but i only forward some kind of insult only after talking to a responsible for the persons evolved, and not send them directly to a game master,and only if i don't feel that the person responsible cared at all.
you can even be a construction worker , or a homeless person i don't really care, what i care is respect.

My answer to this is:
I highly doubt it was one of my members. I have never seen any of my members start cussing at people in chat because they were losing in pvp, unless they were provoked and were responding to something someone else said.
