Though it's annoying for now, when one looks at it from a long-term point of view, the current queue issues are a positive sign regarding player interest for the game, suggesting it may capture an even larger audience than they had anticipated. The consolation prize for players that can't get in easily at the moment is the game may be quite successful, leading to more overall game play over time once game access and player population fall more into line.

20k queue? Ridiculous. And there is no way they will add new servers. They are basically pressuring people to buy their $200 HOtN pack. The MMO industry has officially sunk to a new low. I have never seen a company intentionally create queues in order to sell a service that will simply allow you to play the game.
Look, I can understand your frustration; Neverwinter is a pretty good game, you want to play it and have some fun time. But this isn't a good way to take your frustrations out. This is just a very whiny, entitled post that isn't going to help you, and no one that is actually in control of the situation is going to care. Cryptic is doing everything they can, they want you playing their game, that is how they make money. Just relax and find something else to do. The situation sucks, but this isn't some attempt to get you to throw down $200. If that was Cryptics business model, they would have a much cheaper option.
I have never done a survey for zen or cash. If it is true that they owe you 35k in zen and have not paid, that is a shame. I have been lucky enough not to have any major issues with this company. I am a lifer with CO and STO and supported this game though the Hero pack. I know not everyone will be satisfied however I believe this game will be successful in the long term. Of course this is an opinion based on my experience so far.
In the long-term, yes, assuming it doesn't die in the first year. How long-term remains to be seen, however.

OB is just PWE's excuse to make money with no responsibility to fix anything.

Of course, if you had read the terms of service, you would know that PWE isn't responsible to provide you with anything, even when the game goes live.
Though I wonder why people act like petulant children during a beta, I mean, comon, it's a beta, the game isn't finished.
I am also willing to bet when the game goes live, there will be much more than 3 servers. This way, they cram everyone onto three servers, and they can see what happens when they get overloaded and deal with it before the game goes live. Make sense to me, but I guess most people cant think logically, just emotionally.
It's gonna be 1 shard. So no more ''servers'' according to the community managers. But as they have explained the shards are on many many servers spread globally.

The advantage for players now is that we get to play without worrying about all our hard work on our characters going down the drain at the official launch, believe it or not, this is why a lot of power gamers who will quickly reach cap and find all the issues with the end game content wouldn't play at all right now.

Any good review site will take time to review the game, if anything this issue will be moot due to the fact that people are just raging a bit much at the moment. Everything that has happened was expected frankly, I didn't expect any less and I don't mind the queue. It will drop off in time. People will move on, or quit after they play and complain.
I have a theory - the younger generations (I'm an old fogey) grew up with constant stimulation from hand held gaming devices, telephones, computers, tablets... and therein you can, for the most part, receive instant gratification.
I remember writing letters, licking an envelope and putting it in the mail and waiting WEEKS for the next gaming move. No kidding. We played by snailmail.
In the early days of MMO you queued up, and went to eat/take a shower/clean the house etc. Cause it took time.
So I think you hit the nail on the head Sadasha. Everyone expects everything instantly and has no capacity to be patient any more.
We live in an age high in feelings of entitlement and low in self-disciple. Part of it is the instant gratification issue. Part of it is the neutering of parents to discipline their children, making caving in to demands an attractive easy path to many... leading to children with even more of a sense of entitlement that keep that in their adult years, and never learned what discipline was so were never able to develop self-discipline. It will be interesting to see how it goes over time. Will society continue with this trend, or will there be a major and sudden swing to the opposite in an effort to set things more to what they were in the past.

20k queue is about 15minutes. I already waited through a few of these and honestly is not bad at all. Is that SERIOUSLY that much wait for you that you find it gamebreaking? As I said in other similar HAMSTER threads it would be better that people like you stop playing the game altogether.It would lead to a better NW community but alas this is wishful thinking I think...
People saying that they should just make a free game for enjoyment and not for money, they obviously have to make money somewhere. No one is forcing you to buy any founder packs, they're there if you decide to buy them. This isn't anything new, people with more money get nicer stuff, nothing shady or disgusting about it, that's life. Secondly, if they didn't charge for something, how exactly do you expect them to pay their employees to keep the game running? I can't wait for the people who complain about having to pay complain about how long it takes to get a response from a GM or Admin that they refuse to allow to have a paycheck.

If it's finished enough for them to take money from founders and open it to the public (And, by extension, overload themselves) then it's release, whether you put a beta title on it or not. From Wikipedia;

the problem is that for a free game an open beta feel like an official release for a lot of people, especially since no further wipe are planned.
imho they should have just incresed the invite to the closed beta for a week or two to better handling and fixing bugs that involve lots of simultanear connection to the server.
for me the game works pretty fine, i was expecting a worse scenario for the launch day, if they work hard the major bugs will be fixed for the weekend "zerg rush" U_U
Me and my buddy played last night for several hours we never once felt pressured..... What in the actual **** are you talking about? There are always cash shops in free to play games. You don't have to spend money to play the game. Not everyone needs a $200 spider mount.
