Companion rarities?

Ok...so with the common companions, why are the additional skins named and why are the later rune and item slots appearing if it is impossible to level them high enough to unlock that stuff?

Is there currently a way to remove the level limit...I didn't see anything in the zen shop but with all the special vendors and crazy items maybe I missed something...

The item slots could just be laziness, but someone went ot the trouble of naming the higher level skins on those basic companions for a reason!

    There's a vendor in one of the buildings, the exact one escapes me and I'm unfortunately position 2500+ in a queue, that sells tomes which upgrade companion...rarities? You know what I mean.

    However right now they are not in-game. So basically, past lvl 15, you are going to need either your pre-order companion or shell out zen for one of the rare ones to use them.

    There will eventually be training for companions like there is training for the mounts. They just haven't put it in yet. Earlier in the week it just had a "coming soon" tag on it, but I think they've taken it out for now with this morning's patch.

    thanks for the info...I did just see where the tomes are listed...hopefully they're in soon...my healer has me kinda spoiled already!

    Yeah I'd like to know how much they will be, too. I bought a blue zen companion, and I'm wondering how much AD I will have to save to get him past level 25.

    They'll probably make tomes purchaseable with zen-only.
