i am sure you already thought about it.. would love if we get the links 
in case you didn't,
any way you guys upload the patch files as a package to your partner sites... or torrent.. the large amount of people loading up the server only to patch could be used to seed the entire community.
* assign some none development staff to do that... upload ~1 gigabyte of data..... use torrent..
